Nick Ball given a huge ringing endorsement by boxing legend ahead of Riyadh showdown
Nick Ball has been hailed as the most exciting talent in British boxing by a legend of the sport as he prepares to defend his WBA featherweight world title.
Liverpudlian Ball faces Sam Goodman on the undercard to Moses Itauma's heavyweight fight with Dillian Whyte in Saudi Arabia tomorrow night.
The Briton tackles the Australian as he looks to retain his crown once again, with their encounter the only major strap fight on the Itauma-Whyte undercard.
DAZNBall will be brimming with confidence for his latest test and Ricky Hatton reckons the 28-year-old Scouser is supremely talented.
Asked who he saw as the best fighters in the UK right now, Hatton told DAZN News: “I really like the lad from Liverpool, Nick Ball.
“I’ve followed his career and he’s a very good fighter with a very good style.
“Yes, I like him a lot and think he can go far.”
Hatton, 46, is scheduled to fight for the first time in 13 years on December 2 in Dubai against veteran Eisa Aldah, also 46.
