Boxing legend Ricky Hatton makes huge call on Jake Paul vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jr

One of boxing's most divisive characters, Jake Paul returns to the ring on June 28, tonight on DAZN PPV, against three-weight world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

British boxing legend Ricky Hatton has made his prediction for the fight, labelling Paul “a very clever businessman who knows exactly what he’s doing”.

After going eight rounds with the legendary Mike Tyson, Paul is looking to progress his own career against three-weight world champion Chavez Jr.

The son of the legendary Julio Cesar Chavez will be looking to bring an abrupt halt to Paul's boxing career but former two-weight world champion Hatton exclusively told DAZN News: “Jake Paul has not really fought for God knows how long.

“But he’s a very clever businessman and knows exactly what he’s doing, doesn’t he?

“You’d have to probably go for Jake Paul because I can’t see Chavez being in his heyday.”

On the undercard, WBA and WBO cruiserweight champion Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez will defend his two world titles against Yuniel Dotricos with a unification bout with IBF title holder Jai Opetaia will be next for the winner.
