Abdullah Mason vs. Sam Noakes

At stake for Mason

Abdullah Mason has looked sensational in collecting 17 of his 19 professional victories by knockout.

Mason has already notched three wins this year and with the vacant WBO lightweight title on the line in this bout, the Cleveland, Ohio native has a chance to become a world champion at 21-years-old, putting a dazzling bow on a stellar 2025.

The ante could not be higher for him.

At stake for Noakes

In addition to the vacant WBO lightweight title being up for grabs in this bout, Noakes (17-0, 15 KOs) can also prove he can defeat one of America’s top boxing talents.

Noakes, 28, has never fought outside of England, making this Riyadh host, and worldwide audience via DAZN Pay-Per-View, the biggest proving platform of his career.

Jesse 'Bam' Rodriguez vs. Fernando Martinez

At stake for Rodriguez

At just 25, Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez (22-0, 15 KOs) might be the most underrated star on the pound-for-pound list.

This fight gives him another world stage to change that with another dominating defense of his unified super flyweight crown — not to mention more gasoline to the fire to making the case that he should move up seven pounds to challenge undisputed super bantamweight king Naoya Inoue in 2026.

'Bam!'

At stake for Martinez

Fernando Martinez (18-0, 9 KOs) has world experience boxing, having fought in locations ranging from Tokyo to the United States, Dubai, his native Argentina, South Africa and now Riyadh with this fight.

Not only does this bout gift Martinez the opportunity to produce a monumental upset in handing ‘Bam’ his first loss to become world champion, but it gives the Argentinian veteran a shot to become a big name instantly.

Brian Norman Jr. vs. Devin Haney

At stake for Norman Jr.

Yes, Norman’s WBO welterweight world championship is on the line. But something completely different is at stake for the titleholder — a proving ground to show he is one of the best young fighters in boxing.

Essentially, that is what Norman (28-0 with 2 no contests, 22 KOs) told Haney directly during DAZN’s recent FACE OFF segment.

“I give you your credit. Boy, you the best of the best,” Norman said to Haney. “So after I knock your block off, can’t nobody say anything else.”

Defeating a two-division world champion in Haney will force boxing to heap respect on Norman Jr.’s name.

At stake for Devin Haney

Already a former undisputed king at lightweight and WBC super lightweight titleholder, Haney (32-0 with 1 no contest, 15 KOs)  can become a three-division world champion with a win over Brian Norman Jr.

But in addition to the title, Haney can show fans and critics alike that his brand of boxing can quell a power puncher.

Although Haney’s April 2024 majority decision loss to Ryan Garcia was later turned into no contest after the latter tested positive for a banned substance, 'The Dream' has yet to erase the etched stain of being dropped three times from fans’ memory.

His quiet unanimous decision over Jose Ramirez in May didn’t exactly help. So, this is Haney’s opportunity to take a power-punching Norman Jr. and beat him convincingly.

After all, it could serve as the apt springboard for exacting revenge against Garcia in 2026.

David Benavidez vs. Anthony Yarde

At stake for Benavidez

David Benavidez (30-0, 24 KOs) puts his WBC light heavyweight world title on the line but this main event headliner gives him the opportunities to put another scalp on his ledger via another brutal finish and pave the way for absolute superstardom in the New Year.

A devastating win and perhaps boxing can get 'El Monstro' against unified light heavyweight king Dmitry Bivol for the undisputed 175-pound crown and a cruiserweight run after that.

At stake for Yarde

Anthony Yarde (27-3, 24 KOs) has challenged for a light heavyweight world title twice and was stopped each time — via eighth-round TKO by Artur Beterbiev in January 2023 and an 11th-round KO at the hands of Sergey Kovalev in August 2019.

More than anything, this bout is for Yarde to prove to fans, critics, and most importantly himself that he is world championship material.

In trying to do so, he can also prove that it takes ‘The Beast from the East’ to tame ‘El Monstro.’
