British fighter Anthony Yarde wants to fight Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez, as well as Dmitry Bivol.
The Briton took on Artur Beterbiev two weekends ago in London and was stopped in the eighth round, but after a credible display against the unified light heavyweight champion he is likely to be given more high profile bouts.
Speaking to Talksport, Yarde said he was content with his performance, and even thought he might have secured a victory in different circumstances.

He said: “I’m just still at ease really.
“You can’t change the past. You’re always gonna have things go through your mind like, ‘I should’ve done this.’
“But yeah, it’s gonna be what it’s gonna be. The result’s gonna be the result.
“My job is to do my due diligence during my training, making sure I do everything I can.
“Obviously I’m always learning on the job because I’m behind on the job, but making sure I give my all.
“And yeah, I’m content with the result.
“I’ve been getting a lot of good feedback, but in my mind I’m like, ‘Ah, I could’ve beat him.’
“That’s all that’s in my mind, I’m like, ‘I actually could’ve beat him.’
“But other than that, I’m good.”
Yarde will now undoubtedly take some time off, but is targeting more big fights when he returns.
The 31-year-old would be content with a rematch against his most recent opponent, but named another British contender, Joshua Buatsi as an option, as well as champions Canelo and Bivol.
“In terms of fights going forward in stuff – put me back in with Beterbiev,” Yarde added.
“I want a rematch, I want to get back in that mix. I’m eager to, I’m thriving towards that. I don’t care who I fight.
“The fight with Joshua Buatsi – I love that fight.
“Whoever’s got all the belts – I love them fights as well.
“Dmitry Bivol – I wanna experience fighting Bivol before he retires.
“Canelo – all these kind of names, I wanna be in there with these people.
“Because I feel like, me on my day, if I get my tactics right and things go my way, I have the ability to beat all these guys.”
