Shakur Stevenson doesn't hold back when making prediction for potential Teofimo Lopez vs. Ryan Garcia fight
Shakur Stevenson gives Teofimo Lopez the edge in a potential 140lbs blockbuster against Ryan Garcia.
With his career seemingly on the line, Lopez produced a stunning display earlier this year when he captured the WBO belt at super lightweight with a dominant win over the previously unbeaten Josh Taylor.
The result returned Lopez to the high-level platform he operated on in 2020 before he was sensationally defeated by George Kambosos the following year.
Garcia, currently planning to rebuild after defeat against Gervonta Davis back in April, is rumoured as a future foe for Lopez, but Stevenson, a leading contender at 135lbs, believes the New Yorker would be too good.
“Teo by knockout. Teo is too good for Ryan,” said Stevenson when speaking to FightHype.
“Ryan is an okay fighter, but he needs to get himself together. Once he get himself together, he may be a little better, but right now Teo stopping him.”
