Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk: Oleksandr Usyk gives update on undisputed fight dateTop Rank
A deal has been signed for the two champions to meet in Saudi Arabia.

Unified world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk has given an update on when he is likely to face WBC champion Tyson Fury for the undisputed world heavyweight title.

An official announcement was made in September confirming that Fury and Usyk will indeed meet in Saudi Arabia for all four heavyweight belts, but when this will take place is still up in the air and further clarity is expected after Fury takes on Francis Ngannou on October 28.

If Fury can avoid picking up any major injuries in his clash with the former UFC heavyweight champion, then more information surrounding the Usyk fight could be announced very quickly, and the Ukrainian would like to know more about the contest so he could prepare accordingly.

"I would like to know the exact day and place. Knowing it allows me to plan my training camp and chose its place. All these help me to start preparing," Usyk said on his YouTube channel

"I understand that the promotion of the match is important and necessary – it is a component of the show. But when I know the day and the place I can put on my helmet, close the visor and set off.”

A date of December 23 has been mentioned as a possibility for an undisputed showdown, but Usyk doubts whether that will be case.

“No, I don’t. I would like it to be in December, but there’s no certainty," Usyk responded when discussing a potential fight date with Fury.
