Two British light heavyweights met on Saturday night at the O2 as they looked to move into position for a world title fight.
Undefeated Joshua Buatsi is a former WBA International light heavyweight champion and has held the 175lb British title. In his last outing, he beat Ricards Bolotniks back in August 2021.
Craig Richards, meanwhile, won the British title in December 2020 but lost in a title shot against Dmitry Bivol in May 2021 before getting back to winning ways against Marek Matyja last October.
They met in a WBA title eliminator on Saturday evening that could tee up a title fight with Dmitry Bivol. Buatsi won a tough, drawn-out battle on a unanimous judge's decision.
Here's everything you need to know ahead of Buatsi vs. Richards.
