In this year's Indian Premier League (IPL), 10 teams will battle it out to reach the final.
But first they must successfully navigate through the playoffs, but how do teams reach the business end of the competition?

Once the full season has been played, the top four teams will qualify for the playoffs, with first and second getting two chances to reach the final.
Before the final, there are three playoff games, Qualifier 1, Eliminator and Qualifier 2.
Dates for the playoffs are yet to be confirmed, however, it has been announced that the final will take place on Sunday, May 28 at the Narenda Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
