2023 IPL Final: Why was the game between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans delayed? New date, start time and how to watch on DAZN
Cricket is a sport which is at the mercy of the elements and this year's Indian Premier League final was no different.
The Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans were set to go head-to-head for the trophy on Sunday, but the game got delayed and will now take place on Monday.

Why was the 2023 IPL final delayed?
This year's final was delayed due to heavy rain in Ahmedabad.
The game was originally scheduled to start on Sunday, May 28 at 7:30 p.m. IST / 3 p.m. BST and it looked like the match would finally get underway when the rain stopped at 9 p.m. IST / 4:30 p.m. BST.
However, the rain returned 15 minutes later forcing the players, who were warming up, to exit the field.
If the final between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans cannot be completed on Monday, the Titans will be crowned champions after finishing top of the league, three points ahead of the Super Kings in second.
