Serie A kicks off 2026 with another massive weekend of action, in what is Europe's most exciting title race.
DAZN is showing 380 live games across the 2025-26 campaign, and matchday eighteen sees Lazio and boss Mauricio Sarri welcome old club Napoli to the capital.
Sarri spent three years in charge of his hometown club, leading them to two second-place finishes in Serie A before his move to the Premier League and Chelsea in 2018.
These days, he's in charge of Lazio, who are struggling with inconsistency so far this season, but are unbeaten in their last four and will be more than a match for the champions, especially as Napoli's struggles have come away from home thus far.
Antonio Conte's side did pick up an away win at Cremonese last time out and will need to carry on that kind of form to keep up with the leaders and try to defend their title.
DAZN News has all the information ahead of Lazio vs Napoli.
Lazio vs Napoli will take place at 11.30am GMT on Sunday, January 4, in Serie A.
Fans watching in the US and Canada can catch the game at 6.30am EST and 3.30am PT.
The fixture will take place at the Olympic Stadium in Rome.
Both Samuel Gigot and Nicolo Rovella are still missing and expected to be until the end of January, but Matteo Guezndozi should come back into the side.
Previous XI: Provedel, Marusic, Gila, Romagnoli, Pellegrini, Vecino, Cataldi, Belahyane, Zaccagni, Noslin, Cancellieri (v Udinese, December 27)
Long-term absentees Kevin De Bruyne and Frank Anguissa remain unavailable, with the game too early for Billy Gilmour. However, Romelu Lukaku could be in line for a place on the bench once again.
Previous XI: Milinkovic-Savic, Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Juan, Spinazzola, Politano, Lobtka, McTominay, Neres, Elmas, Hojlund (v Cremonese, December 28)
GettyIt's hard to predict what you might get from Lazio from week to week, but there's no doubt this will be a close encounter. However, Napoli have found that championship-winning form and with Rasmus Hojlund amongst the goals, it should be enough to take the points.
Prediction: Lazio 1-2 Napoli
