The 2025 LIV Golf season comes to a close with the Team Championship this weekend, after Jon Rahm wrapped up his second Individual crown at Indianapolis.
Rahm swept past Joaquin Niemann to claim the title last week, and now the Spaniard can lead his team to glory in Michigan as the teams take centre stage.
But how does the LIV Golf Team Championship work? Let us explain.
All 13 LIV Golf teams take part in the Team Championship, ranked by their regular season performance.
Majesticks GC and Iron Heads GC, who finished 12th and 13th in the regular season respectively, engaged in a play-in match on Wednesday to determine which side would move on to the quarterfinals. Majesticks defeated Iron Heads to earn their place in the quarters, at which point No. 1 seed Legion XIII selected their opponent.
Legion XIII captain Jon Rahm opted to face 11th seed Cleeks, pointing to Majesticks' match play experience and veteran-laden squad as reasons for avoiding them.
“With an extra day of practice on the golf course and competition, they could be a very dangerous, dangerous team,” Rahm said of Majesticks, who count Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood and Henrik Stenson among their ranks.
As such, the quarterfinal match-ups look like this:
The format changes slightly as the tournament progresses, with each stage serving to funnel teams into the following day's action.
In addition to crowning a champion, the Team Championship will also set the rankings across all 12 participating teams.
Here's how each day will play out:
