NHL Games To Watch For The Week Of November 3

The 2025-26 NHL season is off to a roaring start, and you can watch the action all season long with NHL.TV on DAZN (excl. the US and Canada).

Washington Capitals @ Pittsburgh Penguins: Thursday, November 6/Friday, November 7 (7:30 pm ET/12:30 am GMT/2:30 am CEST)

It's Alex Ovechkin vs. Sidney Crosby for the 99th time. Enough said. In those matchups, Crosby has 125 points while Ovechkin has 101. But Ovechkin has the goal edge 53-46. The Penguins are off to an 8-3-2 start, and the Capitals are 6-5-1. Will Ovechkin get his 900th career goal? 

Montreal Canadiens vs. New Jersey Devils: Thursday, November 6/Friday, November 7 (7 pm ET/Midnight GMT/2:00 am CEST)

Crosby and Ovechkin are in their back nine of their stellar career; the Canadiens vs. Devils provides a glimpse into the future with Jack Hughes and Jesper Bratt running the puck for the Devils. They have 29 points between them to have the Devils off to a 9-4 start. 

Two teams with a load of young talent, which always makes for an exciting game.

Chicago Blackhawks @ Detroit Red Wings: Sunday, November 9 (1:00 pm ET/6:00 pm GMT/8:00 pm CEST)

The Blackhawks have also been one of the surprising teams in this young season with a 5-4-3 record. They are led by second-year star Connor Bedard, who had four points in a game last week against the Ottawa Senators. 

This Original Six matchup is always a fun one, and this game should be no different.
