Chelsea Club World Cup 2025 fixtures: When are Chelsea playing? Games, schedules, kick off times

Chelsea's youthful squad come into the FIFA Club World Cup  in confident mood and strong form, having secured both a Premier League top four finish and the Europa Conference title.

They are in the tournament due to being one of Europe's last four Champions League winners, having won the competition in 2021, and start on Monday, June 16 against US outfit LAFC.

However, unlike previous Club World Cup tournaments where just seven teams competed for the top prize, there will be 32 teams vying for the title this summer, with a total of 63 games, all live and free on DAZN.

The new format for the FIFA-organised tournament will see some of the biggest names in club football go head-to-head in something akin to a World Cup or European Championship, all live on DAZN for free.

Chelsea's 2025 Club World Cup schedule

In order to reach the knockout stages, Chelsea must first successfully navigate the group stage where the top two teams from each group will qualify. 

The Blues have been drawn into Group D with Flamengo, Esperance de Tunis and LAFC.

When is 2025 Club World Cup?

This year's Club World Cup will begin on Saturday, June 14 when Inter Miami takes on Al Ahly FC at Hard Rock Stadium with the final scheduled for Sunday, July 13 at MetLife Stadium. 

• Group Stage:  Saturday, June 14 - Thursday, June 26
• Round of 16:  Saturday, June 28 - Tuesday, July 1
• Quarter-finals:  Friday, July 4 - Saturday, July 5
• Semi-finals:  Tuesday, July 8 - Wednesday, July 9
• Final:  Sunday, July 13

How many teams are playing in 2025 Club World Cup?

In total 32 teams will be competing at the Club World Cup with all international federations represented. 

Inter Miami have also been give a place at the tournament as a result of the United States being the hosts.
