Erik ten Hag may still be Manchester United's manager, but speculation remains about the Dutchman's future this summer.

United are set to miss out on a Champions League place in the Premier League, and their only hope for silverware is if they beat Coventry to reach the FA Cup Final later this month.

The disappointing campaign has led to a number of names linked to possibly replacing Ten Hag next season, including Roberto De Zerbi, Thomas Tuchel and Gareth Southgate, who's thought to be a favourite of new minority owner Jim Ratcliffe.

One name that McCoist doesn't believe is right for the job is Graham Potter. Potter has been out of work since Chelsea ended his dismal seven-month stint in charge last year, but talking on talkSPORT, the former Scotland striker doesn't think he's the man for United.

"No, I don’t think he’d be a good fit for that job.

"I think he’ll need to go somewhere else first after the disappointment at Chelsea. I don’t think he’ll come into the running for United because I don’t think it’s a good look for them taking a manager who’s been sacked at Chelsea.’
