The Sky Blues won their 18th straight match in all competitions.
The last time Manchester City and Arsenal met in the Premier League was a 1-0 victory for Pep Guardiola's men on home soil. The teams faced off again on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium in London, with the same result.
Raheem Sterling's header just 75 seconds into the match was the difference between the sides as City appeared to be headed for a dominant victory but instead settled for the one-goal win. For all their struggles of late, Arsenal fought valiantly against the league leaders, weathering the early storm to play City on fairly equal terms for most of the match.
However, the result was ultimately the same: City picked up another three points as they march toward the Premier League title, while Arsenal remains stalled in 10th place on the table.
City nearly put the game away after Cancelo tries to use the outside of his foot to clip the ball inside the post. Instead it just misses wide, and it's still 1-0.
The Arsenal youngster receives a ball from Aubamayeng near the penalty spot, but he can't control the pass properly and his spinning shot attempt is off target.
It looked like a slaughter was en route, but Arsenal has grown into the game, and it's a far more even affair at the moment. City's still the better of the two sides, but Arsenal seems to have found some fighting spirit.
It's Kieran Tierney unleashing a blast from well out that is straight at Ederson. A good strike from the returning left-back, but it's going to take much more than that to beat the City goalkeeper.
City's England star seems up for it today. He works his way into the Arsenal area and nearly gets a clean look, but the Gunners finally swarm him at the last moment.

Raheem Sterling gets the visitors on the board with a header. This may be a long match for the Gunners.
2. Ruthless. A great switch of play from @rubendias finds @Mahrez22 with the delicate touch - he whips it in and the target man himself - @sterling7 - gets on the end of the cross to head us into a lead ๐
