The "exceptional registration window" remains open ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, and Fabrizio Romano continues to track the main stories and player movements in the transfer market.
Monday's episode of DAZN Transfer by Fabrizio Romano focused on the latest on Franco Mastantuono, updates regarding Bayern Munich's transfer targets, Al-Nassr’s interest in Fabian Ruiz, and more.
Here's what the renowned football journalist had to say:
The agreement is concluded between Real Madrid and River Plate in regards to Mastantuono's transfer. The remaining question is which team will he play for during the Club World Cup. River Plate is confident in keeping the Argentine before transferring him to Real Madrid after the tournament.
Additionally, Alvaro Carreras is also very close to Real Madrid but is expected to sign with the La Liga giants after the Club World Cup.

Chelsea is still interested in Mike Maignan and the goalkeeper remains eager to join the English club. Chelsea has offered €15 million to AC Milan, who are demanding more money. Talks continue between the two clubs.
Still in search of a winger, Bayern Munich appreciates the profiles of Rafa Leao and Takefusa Kubo, but there are no negotiations at this stage. The German club prioritizes Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao.
Paris Saint-Germain still wants to sign Illya Zabarnyi and is trying to get him for the Club World Cup, but Bournemouth is asking for more money.
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid is pushing for several players. Alex Baena is one of the profiles targeted by the club. The Spanish club also wants to sign Cristian Romero but it is a difficult transfer as he is one of the key players at Tottenham.

Another Atletico target is Theo Hernandez, who has rejected Al-Hilal’s offer and wants to stay in Europe. Atletico is offering less than the Saudi side, and the offer currently holds no interest for Hernandez's club AC Milan.
One player moving away from Milan is Tijjani Reijnders, who has signed his contract with Manchester City on a five-year deal. Lyon's Rayan Cherki will join the English club on a €35M transfer with a 15% resale bonus, and Chelsea goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli will also join the Sky Blues.
Elsewhere in England, Tottenham is considering hiring Thomas Frank to replace Ange Postecoglou. An agreement is 95% likely for the Brentford boss to land in North London.
Fabian Ruiz is one of Al-Nassr’s main targets as the Saudi club wants to keep Cristiano Ronaldo and is considering signing several profiles like the Spanish international to entice their superstar to remain. Nevertheless, a Ruiz signing is complicated as he is very happy at PSG, where Luis Enrique sees him as a key player.

Alejandro Garnacho will leave Manchester United, as previously reported. He could stay in England though, as Chelsea is interested in signing the Argentine. There’s a 35% chance this will happen.
In Italy, Cesc Fabregas wants to sign Yeremay. Como is negotiating with Deportivo and could sign the Spaniard, as the transfer is estimated at a 60% chance of success.
