DAZN Transfer by Fabrizio Romano returned on Thursday with another packed edition as the globally recognised journalist covers transfer rumours ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup.

After already signing Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth and Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold, Real is now targeting Alvaro Carreras.
The Benfica player, who was trained at Real Madrid, is close to joining the Spanish club. Real Madrid’s XI would then look like this:
Additionally, Franco Mastantuono is very close to joining Los Blancos. Real Madrid has an agreement with the player, who is ready to be transferred later this summer.
Mastantuono is expected to play in the Club World Cup with River Plate.
The Spain international has a 60% chance of signing with the La Liga side and he is excited about the opportunity. Discussions are ongoing between Villarreal and Atletico, who want to add a player to the deal, but Villarreal prefers a straight transfer.
Another target for Diego Simeone’s side is Johnny Cardoso. It is a signing estimated at 70% chance of completion, with new contacts taking place Thursday. Cardoso is keen on the move and Betis is asking for at least €40M.
With Leroy Sané’s contract ending, Bayern Munich is interested in Take Kubo. The Japanese player is on the German club’s radar, and his profile is coveted, but it is a difficult transfer estimated at 20% chance of completion.
The Saudi club wants to sign the striker for the Club World Cup and they have offered €65M, but Galatasaray wants to keep him. There is a 60% chance the player signs with Al-Hilal.
On the management front, Inter is pushing for Cesc Fabregas even though the coach is expected to stay at Como. Former Nerazzurri player Cristian Chivu would be Inter's second choice, on a two-year contract.
Finally, Wojciech Szczęsny is close to extending with FC Barcelona until 2027. The club would then have four goalkeepers, with Joan Garcia expected to join the Blaugrana from Espanyol this summer, along with stalwarts Inaki Pena and Marc-André ter Stegen.
