Harry Kane - Bayern Munich

A man who already boasts top scorer gongs from both England and Germany, as well as a Golden Boot in both the World Cup and the Euros, Kane will look to add another to his collection at the Club World Cup.

The England skipper goes into the tournament off the back of another goal-laden season with Bayern Munich, having topped the charts to bring his tally since joining the club to an incredible 82 goals in 92 games.

He also got the taste for more silverware, having finally bagged his first-ever major trophy in 2025 with Bayern's Bundesliga triumph.

With the German giants expected to go deep into the tournament, Kane will surely be fancied to add more team and individual honours this summer.

Kylian Mbappe - Real Madrid

Mbappe's slow start in Madrid has quickly been wiped away thanks to a season full of goals from the French superstar.

Real may have missed out on La Liga and Champions League glory in 2025, but the five-time Club World Cup winners will go into this summer's tournament all guns blazing and with a forward bang in form.

Mbappe has netted 41 times in his debut season for the Spanish side, a tally that even eclipses Cristiano Ronaldo's return in his maiden campaign for the club.

He's a big reason why Madrid will be going into the competition as one of the favourites.

Erling Haaland - Manchester City

Manchester City may have ended the season trophyless in what ended up being a disappointing season, but there is still hope of retaining the Club World Cup, especially with Haaland leading the line.

The Norwegian did miss out on the Premier League Golden Boot for the first time in his City career, but that will only make him more determined to add another accolade to his CV by topping the charts in the States.

He still managed to score 30 goals in all competitions in 2024-25, even after missing a chunk of the campaign through injury, and he'll be ready to fire Pep Guardiola's side to success in the States.

Ousmane Dembele - Paris Saint-Germain

It's been a defining season for Ousmane Dembele, whose performances have been so good for PSG that there's even talk of him being in contention for this year's Ballon d'Or.

The French forward has scored a career best of 31 goals for the Parisians in a campaign that has seen them retain their French title and finally win the Champions League.

If he carries on that goalscoring form into the Club World Cup, not only will PSG be the team to watch in the USA, but Demeble could be one of the front runners to win a Golden Boot - which would be a first of his career.

Lionel Messi - Inter Miami

Even in the twilight of his glittering career, you can never rule out Lionel Messi doing Lionel Messi things, especially in this massive spotlight for him and his MLS side.

Miami aren't expected to progress too far in the competition, which could hinder the Argentine's prospects of winning yet another individual accolade, but it wouldn't come as a shock if Messi still found a way.

When we're talking about one of the greatest of all time, playing in a major tournament, then Messi has shown previously that he excels and could be the driving factor in a surprise run for Javier Mascherano's team.

Lautaro Martinez - Inter Milan

Often overlooked when it comes to contenders, there's no doubting the Argentine's credentials of taking home a Golden Boot gong this summer.

Martinez scored over twenty goals for Inter for a fourth consecutive season as the Italians battled for the Serie A title and reached the Champions League final.

Inter have shown in recent seasons what a dangerous cup team they are, and with them focused on bagging another trophy, Martinez has every opportunity to add to his goal tally for the club.
