Who will Manchester City and Chelsea play after the FIFA Club World Cup?
Manchester City will open their season with a trip to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, August 16.
Chelsea meanwhile will begin their campaign a day later at home against Crystal Palace on Sunday, August 17.
The two will not meet for the first time until the first match week of 2026, when City host Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, January 3.
