GK: Fabio - Fluminense

As the competition's oldest player, few could have envisioned at the start of the tournament that the Brazilian would emerge as the competition's best number one.

The 44-year-old was a key component of the Fluminense backline that kept three clean sheets across the tournament and played a staggering 540 minutes of action.

His performance against Inter and an incredible save from Al-Hilal's Kalidou Koulibaly were just two of the standout moments from Fabio.

DF: Achraf Hakimi - Paris Saint-Germain

PSG's roving right-back has picked up where he left off after the end of the regular season and used the FIFA Club World Cup to cement his status as the world's best in his position.

The Moroccan has played in every game of the competition so far, a testament to his fitness at this stage of a long season, and got himself on the scoresheet twice in the States.

His constant overlap on the right flank has been a persistent threat that no side has found a way to stop during the tournament.

DF: Thiago Silva - Fluminense

A tournament that defied his years, Thiago Silva was the warrior behind Fluminense's run to reaching the last four in the States.

At 40 years old, the legendary defender showed no signs of slowing down as he led the Brazilians to three clean sheets before coming undone against his former side, Chelsea, in the semi-finals.

His rousing emotional team talks, especially before the quarterfinal win over Al Hilal, will be one of the lasting images of this year's tournament.

DF: Trevor Chalobah - Chelsea

What a year 2025 has been for the Chelsea defender.

Before Christmas, his future looked uncertain at Stamford Bridge after moving on loan to Crystal Palace, but after returning to the Blues in January, he hasn't looked back. A solid second half of the season was rewarded with a first England cap and he carried that form into the Club World Cup.

Having only appeared once in the group phase, Chalobah took his chance against Benfica and hasn't looked back. It was his threaded ball that set up Cole Palmer for his opener against Palmeiras, and he then got the better of his 'idol' Thiago Silva in the semi-final win over Flamengo.

DF: Nuno Mendes - PSG

Nuno Mendes' season just keeps getting better. Following league and Champions League success, he followed it up by winning the Nations League with Portugal and now could be set to lift the FIFA Club World Cup too - and it's no more than he deserves.

Much like his fellow full-back for the Parisians, Mendes has shown what an impactful player he can be at both ends of the pitch.

Whether that's in attack, where at times he occupied the false nine position or in defence when he can be seen outpacing Vinicius Jr to prevent a clear goalscoring opportunity.

MF: Vitinha - PSG

The maestro in the middle of PSG's midfield has enjoyed his summer in the States, almost as much as we've enjoyed watching him pull the strings for the European champions.

His tournament began with a goal in the 4-0 win over Atletico Madrid, before providing assists in the wins over Seattle Sounders and Inter Miami.

Yet, it's how the Portuguese knits the team together that is to marvel at, a key element to the swashbuckling way Luis Enrique has got his team to play.

MF: Enzo Fernandez - Chelsea

Chelsea may have found the ideal midfield balance during their run to the final, with Enzo Fernandez at the heart of it.

The Argentine came off the bench to score in Chelsea's opening win over LAFC and has gone on to play a bigger and bigger role for the Blues in the States.

With three assists in the competition, no player has provided more goals for his teammates than this menace in the middle.

MF: Fabian Ruiz - PSG

It was the often overlooked Ruiz who got PSG's FIFA Club World Cup campaign underway with a goal against Atletico in their opening game, and he continued to be a threat whenever he's appeared for the French and European champions.

His one-tournament vendetta against the Spanish capital city concluded with two goals in their statement victory over Real Madrid in the semi-finals, adding to his growing reputation as a big-game player.

LW: Michael Olise - Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich took most of the headlines during the group phase and Olise was at the heart of proceedings, with his performances leaving a lasting impression on the tournament.

The Frenchman netted twice in the thrashing of Auckland City, including a goal of the tournament contender, with a sweet strike from the edge of the box.

He then followed that up by scoring a crucial winner against Boca Juniors to send Bayern through to the knockouts, ending his tournament with three goals and two assists to his name.

RW: Pedro Neto - Chelsea

Chelsea have learnt a lot about their attack during events in the USA, and in Pedro Neto, they have found almost a certain starter in Enzo Maresca's side.

It's taken time for the Portuguese to find his rhythm in blue, but this competition has proved to be the perfect setting for him to show the kind of displays he made his hallmark at Wolves.

His all-action performances have produced three goals -  where he twice netted the opening goal -  and he ranks in the top five for chances created and 1v1 attempts.

CF: Gonzalo Garcia - Real Madrid

Gonzalo went into the competition as a young squad player looking to make his mark, but ended it by being heralded as 'the new Raul'. Not bad for a month's work.

In the age-old tradition of breakout stars from a summer tournament, Garcia has grabbed his opportunity with both hands and propelled himself into Xabi Alonso's thinking ahead of next season.

The 21-year-old scored four goals during proceedings in the States and his performances have certainly beefed up the competition for places in Madrid's attack.
