Tottenham go into this weekend's Premier League opener under new management following the arrival of Thomas Frank over the summer, looking to improve on last season's disappointing league campaign.
During the off-season, the club have also recruited Mohammed Kudus and Joao Palhinha as well as securing permanent deals for Mathys Tel and Kevin Danso.
However, their business isn't done there. With the season-ending injury to James Maddison and Son Heung-min's departure, Spurs have been linked with a move for Crystal Palace's Ebere Eze.
The England man has been at the centre of much transfer speculation, but former Tottenham midfielder Gus Poyet believes he'd be a great addition in North London.
"He's a player who's got plenty of ability. And then he went to the national team. So he keeps growing, and it could be a good step for him.
"But Tottenham is a different team. What's interesting is whether the coach would have bought Eze to play for Brentford? Probably not.
"So either it's because it's a different style that he's going to play at Tottenham, or because he lost Maddison and Son and he needs someone to replace that kind of characteristics. I don't know.
"It's not like I see him reflecting what the coach showed in the last years at Brentford. Maybe I'm wrong.
"But Eze, I love him. I mean, he's a player who can open up spaces from anywhere. He's got the quality, he's got the ability, and he's got the confidence."

Whether Spurs do get a deal done for Eze or not, the season is still a huge one for both club and the new manager.
Despite winning the Europa League last season, Tottenham finished in 17th place and Poyet believes Frank needs to make a good start or risk another underwhelming campaign.
Adding, "I think that he knows the league, he has a different personality, you know, a different kind of character. But this is not Brentford.
"This is Tottenham, with all respect to Brentford, okay? And what I see in the pre-season, I think they're still learning. They're still getting the cohesion. They still... I don't want to be that extreme of saying they are not ready, because they've got incredible players, okay? But I think the first game is very important for Tottenham.
"I think they need a good performance. They need to show that they're getting there.
"It's very important for the coach that the team start well. Because if not, you know, we're going to be talking about what happened last year, or similar. So important to start well, very, very important to start well."
