It is once again time for a big Merseyside derby in the Premier League.
Everton secured their first league win at Anfield since September 1999 with a 2-0 result that handed Jurgen Klopp's defending Premier League champions their fourth straight home defeat in the top flight.
James Rodriguez set up Richarlison for the opener within three minutes. The Toffees led from there to the end, with a Gylfi Sigurdsson penalty putting the result beyond doubt in the closing stages.
The result means Carlo Ancelotti's side joins the Reds on 40 points but have a game in hand which would move them above their neighbours if they win or draw.
