Rochale will be looking to reignite their bid to win automatic promotion from the National League when they host Brackley Town on Saturday.
Jimmy McNulty's men saw their winning run ended on December 30 with a 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Hartlepool United.
That setback saw Dale knocked off top spot and left them in third, although they have two games in hand on the sides above them.
Brackley, meanwhile, have struggled for consistency this season but head north on the back of two successive victories.
They beat Forest Green 1-0 at home on Boxing Day and then won 2-1 at Boston United four days later, leaving them in buoyant mood ahead of their testing trip to Lancashire.
