The 2022/23 season in Spain's top flight will get underway on August 12 with Osasuna hosting Sevilla in the opening game.

When will the 2022/23 La Liga season pause for the World Cup?

The last round of La Liga matches before the World Cup is set for the weekend of November 12-13.

Once the tournament comes to a close, the La Liga season will resume on December 29.
