Devin Haney vs. Brian Norman Jr.: The welterweight champ with a simple message for "The Dream"
It appears the entire world is against WBO welterweight champion Brian Norman Jr., heading into Saturday's title defense versus Devin Haney in the co-main event of The Ring IV from the ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, live and exclusive on DAZN PPV.
People have said Norman's not faced the type of opposition that Haney has taken on, as "The Dream" has been inside the ring with Vasiliy Lomachenko, Ryan Garcia, and Regis Prograis. Also, Haney is a former undisputed lightweight champion and a former junior welterweight champion. Norman's heard it all, including being told he isn't leaving the Middle East with his belt.

Norman, who is one of the hardest punchers in all of boxing with 22 of his 28 wins by knockout, with the likely 2025 KO of the Year over Jin Sasaki in June, knows what everyone is saying. He just plans on shutting them up on Saturday, as he had a simple message for them all after Friday's weigh-in.
"You see this belt over my shoulder," Norman told DAZN's Claudia Trejos. "I came in with it and I’m walking out with it. And your boy (Haney) is going to respect me after this one. Watch it."
