If you thought Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson was going to apologize for his epic rant after his team rallied from 18 points down at halftime to defeat their most hated rival, the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Wild Card Round, think again.

In what has become must-see viewing, Johnson began his post-game locker room speech by saying, "F— the Packers" and "F— them" "F— hate those guys".

When asked by the media at a press conference on Monday, Johnson had no regrets whatsoever.

"This is a rivalry," Johnson said. "And [for] the city of Chicago, Green Bay -- it needs to be a rivalry."

Normally, Bears Chairman George McCaskey isn't too fond of expletive language. But even those inside Halas Hall have made an exception when it comes to the Packers.

"There's a rivalry that exists between these two teams, something that I fully recognize and I'm a part of," Johnson said. "And, yeah, I just, I don't like that team. So George and I have talked, and we're on the same page."

Johnson, though, wishes he could take back one thing from Saturday night. There was an incident before the game when a ball was punted before the team met in a huddle. Officials had to step in between players from both teams.

"No one wants to see that," Johnson said. "Both teams are highly charged. It's just not something that we want."

The Bears (12-6) will host the Los Angeles Rams (13-5) on Sunday in the NFC Divisional Round, which you can see live with NFL Game Pass on DAZN (excl. the US and China).
