Former world champion makes huge prediction for Teofimo Lopez vs. Shakur Stevenson

All eyes will be on Madison Square Garden in New York on Saturday, January 31 for the superb Ring 6 card, live on DAZN PPV.

Topping a fantastic bill is Teofimo Lopez’s defence of his WBO super lightweight title against Shakur Stevenson, who is stepping up a division in a bid to become a four-weight world champion.

Lopez was last seen claiming a unanimous decision victory over Arnold Barboza Jr. in Times Square in May, while Stevenson put on a brilliant performance when recording a comfortable points victory over William Zepeda in July.

On the undercard, Keyshawn Davis faces Jamaine Ortiz and the former has given his thoughts on the main event.

Speaking to Fight Hub TV, Davis said: “I think that’s another fun matchup, and I feel like Shakur’s gonna beat him fairly easy.

“I’m not gonna lie to you. Teo knows exactly who he is facing, and I just feel like Shakur is just so focused, so locked in.

“But not only that, I just feel like his IQ is just on a whole other level. Shakur’s IQ is crazy, for real, and he is going to show that, you know, January 31.

“He is going to show that he is levels ahead of Teofimo, for sure.”
