Subriel Matias returns to Puerto Rico for his first fight of 2025 tomorrow.
With the hope of becoming a two-time world champion Matias faces Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela in an IBF super lightweight title eliminator.
This bout will be Valenzuela's first outing to Puerto Rico after fighting in Mexico, Venezuela and the United States.

Matias vs Valenzuela will takes place on Saturday, March 1 at Coliseo Tomas Dones in Fajardo, Puerto Rico with the whole card set to be shown live on DAZN.
The broadcast will begin at 7pm ET / 12am GMT (Sunday) with the ringwalks for Matias vs Valenzuela scheduled for 9pm ET / 2am GMT (Sunday). These timings are subject to change.

The fight is set to be held at Coliseo Tomas Dones, in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.
The venue can hold up to 6,000 people and is home to the Cariduros de Farjardo basketball team.
