The build-up to Chris Eubank Jr's clash with Conor Benn exploded on Tuesday in Manchester.Â
Confirmed for April 26 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the two rivals will finally meet inside the ring after their initial bout three years ago was cancelled at short notice due to an adverse finding in a drugs test for Benn.Â
This evening Eubank Jr and Benn will face the world's media one final time before they begin their respective training camps for what will be a historic night for British boxing.Â
DAZN News has everything you need to know including how to watch the press conference for free.Â
Taking place in front of the general public at Manchester Central, it was no surprise that both fighters were involved in heated verbal exchanges.Â
But it was not just Eubank Jr and Benn who got under each other's skins, promoters Ben Shalom and Eddie Hearn were also not afraid to let their voices be heard about how the deal came together.Â
With tensions at an all-time high, there was plenty of anticipation ahead of the first face off.Â
Eubank Jr and Benn continued the war of words before all hell broke loose when Eubank Jr slapped his rival with an egg.Â
Pandemonium broke out on the stage with both camps going for each other whilst being separated by numerous security guards.Â
This fallout has had significant consequences with extra measures being put in place to keep the two fighters apart at today's press conference along with Eubank Jr being investigated by the BBBofC for his actions.Â
The press conference will begin at 6pm in the UK, which means a 1pm start on the East Coast.
The event will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and it is not open to the public.
The press conference will be broadcast live, in full, and for free on DAZN.
