It will be a traditional Thanksgiving Day matchup as it will be the 23rd time the Packers and Lions have squared off. The Lions have a 12-9-1 edge against their NFC North rival. At this point of the year, both teams are chasing the Chicago Bears, who lead the division with an 8-3 record.
Both teams are coming off wins. The Packers beat the Minnesota Vikings 23-6 while the Lions struggled but defeated the New York Giants in overtime 34-27.
This is a must-win for both teams if they want to keep pace with the red-hot Bears.
Both teams are coming off possible season-shifting momentum wins on Sunday. The Cowboys stormed back from 21 points down to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 24-21 behind 354 yards passing from Dak Prescott and holding the Eagles scoreless in the second half to get them to .500 with a 5-5-1 mark. Meanwhile, the Chiefs came back to beat the Indianapolis Colts 23-20 in overtime to get over .500 with a 6-5 record.
It should be a shootout in Big D with plenty on the line in terms of remaining in the playoff picture.
What a difference one player makes. Lamar Jackson starts practicing and playing in the games, which is all the Ravens needed as they have a five-game winning streak and are now in first place in the AFC North.
There is a chance Joe Burrow returns for the first time in two months from a turf toe injury.
