The quarter-finals of the UEFA Nations League A kick off this week, and one of the match-ups involves Netherlands hosting Spain.
Both sides have been dormant since November, when they completed the group stage of the competition.
The Spanish topped Group 4, having not lost any of their six group matches. In fact, they played a whopping 17 matches in 2024 and only lost one, drawing twice and winning 15 times — including the Euro 2024 final.
They now hope their red-hot form rolls into 2025 against the Dutch, who had a much less dominant calender year but still managed to finish second in Group 3.
Here's what to know about Netherlands vs. Spain before their first leg match.
The match kicks off at 8:45 p.m. local time, which is 3:45 p.m. in the Eastern Time Zone.
The match is available exclusively on DAZN in Canada.
Thursday's match will be played at Stadion Feijenoord, also known as De Kuip, in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The stadium is the home of Feyenoord and holds up to 51,117 fans.
