The UEFA Champions League play-offs are nearly complete, setting the stage for the league phase draw later this week.
As usual, many of the world's biggest clubs will be involved in the 2025-26 edition of the annual tournament, including the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, and more.
Here's everything you need to know about the Champions League's league phase draw, including when and where it takes place, how to watch it live, and more.
The draw will be held at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco on August 28. Proceedings are scheduled to get under way at 6pm local time.
The league phase replaced the group stage at last year's tournament, and it will again involve 36 teams from across the continent.
Divided into four pots of nine teams each based on their UEFA club coefficient, the teams will be manually drawn by dignitaries at the ceremony in Monaco on August 28. Automated software will then randomly select eight opponents for each of the 36 teams, with each side facing two teams from each of the four pots.
Teams cannot face opponents from their own country during the league phase, and can only be drawn against a maximum of two opponents from the same country.
As mentioned, 36 teams have qualified for the league phase of the Champions League, and they are divided into four pots of nine.
Here are the pots, with each team's current UEFA coefficient listed alongside them:

PSG finally attained their goal of winning the UEFA Champions League last season.
The Parisians dispatched three Premier League sides in the knockout stages en route to the final, which was held at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
They came up against Inter Milan, who impressively saw off Bayern Munich and Barcelona in the quarter-finals and semis, respectively. However, that's where the Nerazzurri's luck ran out as they ran into a well-oiled PSG machine in the championship game, with Luis Enrique's men storming to a 5-0 victory.
Achraf Hakimi, Désiré Doué, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu all got on the score sheet for the Parisians, with Doué netting twice in the match.
