As the 2025 NFL Draft draws nearer, all 32 teams stand on the brink of a decision that could define their destiny for years to come.

This year's draft class offers a deep pool of talent, but separating future stars from potential busts is no easy task.

Here, the DAZN news panel reveals its vision for how the top 10 selections could unfold.

1. Tennessee Titans - Cam Ward, quarterback, Miami (Jason Abbey)

The Titans' offense struggled mightily in 2024, finishing 26th in passing yards, 31st in interceptions, and 29th in quarterback rating. Will Levis has failed to become the player they envisaged, and the team made little effort to address the position in free agency. While the roster needs an infusion of talent at multiple positions, and selecting Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter must be tempting, finding a franchise quarterback is the team's most pressing need.

As the consensus top quarterback in the draft, Ward represents Tennessee's best opportunity to reshape not only their offense but the future of the franchise. While the Miami product has an unconventional throwing motion, he reads the game well, has above-average mobility in the pocket, and demonstrates the leadership qualities that NFL teams covet. Learning the ropes while playing under Brian Callahan - a former quarterback coach and offensive coordinator - Ward should have the opportunity to thrive.

2. Cleveland Browns - Travis Hunter, wide receiver/cornerback, Colorado (Ash Rose)

Deshaun Watson may miss some or all of the season after rupturing his Achilles for the second time, and his future with the Browns is uncertain following off-field controversy and poor performances.

While the team added Kenny Pickett and Joe Flacco in free agency, they still need to upgrade the quarterback position. Unfortunately, with Ward off the board, none of the remaining quarterbacks are worthy of the second overall pick.

Trading down to acquire additional draft selections would make sense, but the temptation of adding a generational two-way talent like Hunter is too good to pass up.

General manager Andrew Berry revealed that while Hunter could play on offense and defense, Cleveland views the Colorado product "primarily" as a wide receiver. Adding the former Heisman-winner to a group of wide receivers comprising only one established playmaker in Jerry Jeudy makes a lot of sense. Hunter's ability to contribute on defense makes him even more appealing.

3. New York Giants - Abdul Carter, edge, Penn State (Mark Lelinwalla)

Despite having a forgettable 2024 season, the Giants are quietly bolstering their defensive line. Drafting defensive end Abdul Carter out of Penn State would only further solidify Big Blue's defense, giving them another edge rusher who could spell nightmares for NFL offenses.

4. New England Patriots - Will Campbell, offensive tackle, LSU (Gavin Babbitt)

Will Campbell is the highest-rated offensive lineman in this draft and allowed only four sacks in his three seasons on the Bayou. He has the height and weight to be a franchise left tackle, but will need to develop specialised technique to compensate for his shorter arms and limited lateral quickness. Scouts rave about this kid's hands and pass blocking ability.

With the addition of Stefon Diggs and Drake Maye entering his sophomore season, the Pats must improve up front to throw the ball vertically and spring Rhamondre Stephenson. Campbell is the quintessence of reliability- he was on the field for every LSU snap with a chance for allowed pressure from 2022-2024 (1,503 snaps).

The Patriots were a bottom-five team in offensive efficiency a season ago. Typically, that indicates limited time for run plays to develop and pass catchers to get downfield.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars - Mason Graham, defensive tackle, Michigan (Matt Astbury)

Selecting a wide receiver was a consideration here. While Brian Thomas Jr. had a sensational rookie season, the lack of depth behind him was concerning entering free agency. The signing of Dyami Brown, who erupted for the Washington Commanders during the playoffs, alleviated some of their concerns at wideout and made it less of a priority with the fifth overall pick.

Mason Graham may not be a flashy pick, but with Hunter and Carter off the board, he's the most talented defender available. The Rose Bowl Defensive MVP would bring some much-needed pass rush ability to the interior of the Jaguars' defensive line and has the potential to become an elite run defender at the pro level.

6. Las Vegas Raiders - Ashton Jeanty, running back, Boise State (Jason Abbey)

The Boise State product is a phenomenal talent, but neither the Jets, Panthers, nor Saints have a glaring need for a running back. While it would make sense for the Raiders to explore the possibility of trading down in the hope they can still acquire Jeanty at ten, there's no guarantee that any other teams would accommodate.

The Raiders' most pressing needs are running back, defensive tackle, wide receiver and cornerback. None of the players at those positions rival Jeanty's upside, so although conventional wisdom suggests running backs should not be taken this early, the Raiders should make an exception and select arguably the most talented skill player in the draft.

Jeanty is a dual-threat running back, equally adept as a runner or receiver. His athleticism, vision, and game-breaking elusiveness would elevate the Raiders' offense.

The dynamic running back clearly has belief in his own abilities.

7. New York Jets - Armond Membou, offensive tackle, Missouri (Ash Rose)

The Jets will set out to establish a new offensive identity in 2025, led by new quarterback Justin Fields. Protecting Fields will be key to their success, and parting ways with Morgan Moses and Tyron Smith in free agency was not the best way to achieve that goal.

Drafting Membou with the seventh selection would be a shrewd move. At only 6'4", he lacks the prototypical size for an offensive tackle, but he's highly athletic and allowed only eight pressures and zero sacks in 2024. He could partner with ascending talent Olumuyiwa Fashanu to form an offensive tackle partnership for the next decade.

8. Carolina Panthers - Jahdae Barron, cornerback, Texas (Gavin Babbitt)

Jahdae Barron fits Carolina's needs like a glove. He is a multifaceted defender who specialises at outside corner but can move inside to nickel and slide into the box to assist in stopping the run. He played 541 coverage snaps at Texas last year, with opposing quarterbacks carrying a passer rating of only 34.2 on targets he defended.

Barron allowed two touchdowns over three seasons in the Big 12 while hauling in eight interceptions. He is a monster in NFL-friendly zone schemes, and his skillset will help combat players like Mike Evans and ex-teammate Bijan Robinson in the NFC South.

The Panthers need to address defensive issues in the early rounds of this draft. Carolina finished 32nd last season in total yardage allowed per game (404.5). They need help in the secondary after giving up 35 touchdowns and nearly seven yards per play through the air in 2024.

9. New Orleans Saints - Shedeur Sanders, quarterback, Colorado (Mark Lelinwalla)

Questions about Derek Carr's health at quarterback may necessitate the Saints pulling the trigger on Shadeur Sanders for their QB of the future. Sanders has all the tools to be a franchise quarterback for New Orleans to build around. He seems to be a good fit now and for years to come.

Jason Bell believes that Sanders should have been selected even earlier.

10. Chicago Bears - Tyler Warren, tight end, Penn State (Matt Astbury)

The Bears find themselves in the enviable position of deciding between defensive talents such as Jalon Walker, Mykel Williams, and Jihaad Campbell while also having the luxury of offensive prospects such as Tetairoa McMillan, Kelvin Banks Jr., and Tyler Warren at their fingertips.

All six of those players mentioned have been projected to. be taken within the top ten at one point or another, but only four - Walker, Williams, Banks and Warren - would address the Bears' apparent needs.

Head coach Ben Johnson may be tempted by Banks' ability to solidify what was one of the most porous offensive lines in 2024. Still, after breaking the bank in free agency on the signings of Drew Dalman, Joe Thuney, and Jonah Jackson, the Bears must focus on upgrading at tight end.

Warren has drawn comparisons to Rob Gronkowski for his size, route running, and ability to make contested catches. Bringing his record-breaking talent to Chicago would provide quarterback Caleb Williams with an excellent red-zone threat.
