The Rams (8-2) are rolling into Week 12 riding a five-game win streak and holding first place in the NFC West. They're the third-ranked team in our latest power rankings, barely a whisker behind the NFL's elite.
The Buccaneers (6-4), meanwhile, sit atop the NFC South, 11th in our power rankings, and are desperate to halt a two-game slide.
With both teams pushing hard for the postseason, this Sunday Night Football clash between two NFL juggernauts has all the makings of an epic showdown.

At 37, MVP frontrunner Matthew Stafford is playing the best football of his career. His connection with Puka Nacua and Davante Adams strikes fear into the hearts of defenses around the league, even one as talented as Tampa Bay's.
Top tight end Tyler Higbee will be absent after landing on IR, but with his elite duo at wideout, and running back Kyren Williams leading the way on the ground, the Rams have all the weapons they need to keep this high-powered offense on track.
That group will test their skills against a Bucs' defense that boasts the ever-reliable play of defensive tackle Vita Vea, linebacker Lavonte David, and safety Antoine Winfield Jr.
The Buccaneers' offensive hopes start and end with quarterback Baker Mayfield, who followed up his huge Week 11 performance with a poor effort in the loss to the Bills last weekend.
It hasn't helped, of course, that Mayfield has been without two of his top targets, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, for most of the year.
However, the absence of the two veteran wideouts has allowed others to thrive, notably first-year receiver Emeka Egbuka, who is in the running for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award after far exceeding expectations.
If Godwin and talented tailback Bucky Irving return this weekend, it will provide a boost to the offense as they go up against one of the league's best defenses.
It's a unit that relies on the stellar play of one of the best defensive fronts in the league, where Jared Verse, Byron Young, and Kobie Turner ply their trade.
But the Rams' defense will be short-handed in the secondary, where Quentin Lake will miss after dislocating his elbow in Week 11. With 61 tackles and 10 passes defended, his absence will be felt and may even the odds between the two sides.
As things stand, the Rams have a 99% of reaching the playoffs and a 42% of locking down the NFC's top seed. They need to keep the pressure on the Eagles, who, with 41%, are hot on their heels.
The Buccaneers have an 85% chance of making the postseason. That figure would increase to 93% with a win, and drop to 82% with a loss.
The game will take place at SoFi Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Rams, in Inglewood, California.
The 3.1 million-square-foot stadium is the largest in the NFL, and can seat approximately 70,000 fans, expandable up to 100,000.
The Rams lead the series 19-10-0, but Tampa broke L.A.'s three-game winning streak when these two sides last met in 2022.
The Rams have too much offensive firepower. Even with the injuries that L.A. is dealing with, and regardless of whether Godwin and Irving are back for Tampa, this should be the Stafford-Nacua-Adams show.
Mayfield will battle until the final whistle, as he always does, but he'd have to perform a miracle to help the Buccaneers' offense keep pace with the Rams.
Rams 31 - 21 - Buccaneers
