Wild Card Weekend gets underway on Saturday with the Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Rams kicking off the road to Super Bowl LX.
Despite the Panthers' loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 18, they were still able to clinch the NFC South title after the Atlanta Falcons toppled the New Orleans Saints.
The Rams however have been one of this season's standout teams with quarterback Matthew Stafford a heavy favourite for MVP, but the Panthers may have a slight edge after beating Sean McVay's team 31-28 in Week 13.
Here is everything you need to know ahead of Panthers vs. Rams.
With this being quarterback Bryce Young's first playoff game, he will need some help on offense to ensure that he does not get overwhelmed by the occasion.
This will have to come from the run game, and the Rams are a team which struggles on the ground with the team ranked 20th when it comes to rush defense.
One of the reasons why the Rams lost to the Panthers earlier in the season was because of the three turnovers by Stafford.
I highly doubt this will happen a second time around, so as long as the Rams take good care of the football, they will be favourites to triumph in North Carolina.
This game will kick off this year's NFL playoffs on Saturday, January 10.
Kick-off is scheduled for 4:30pm ET, which means a 9:30pm start in the UK.
The game will take place at the Bank of America Stadium, the home of the Panthers.
The stadium is where the two teams clashed in Week 13 which saw the Panthers beat the Rams by three points.
A lot has changed since the Panthers upset the Rams two months ago.
The Rams have solidified themselves as legitimate Super Bowl contenders while the Panthers have won just one of their last four games.
If the Panthers are to advance in the playoffs, they will need to find a way to stop the Rams' relentless offense who lead the league in points per game at 30.1.
I can only see this game going one way, and that's in favour of the Rams whose offense will overpower the Panthers with MVP candidate Stafford at the helm.
