The Week 9 Thursday Night Football game sees the Ravens (2-5) head to Miami after breaking their four-game skid against the Chicago Bears last week.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson is expected back from a hamstring injury that cost him four games, giving Baltimore a much-needed boost as they continue trying to recover from a disastrous start to the season.
The 2x MVP is under no illusions about how difficult it will be for the Ravens to claw their way back into playoff contention.
When not creating plays with his feet, Jackson will look to playmakers Zay Flowers at wideout and Derrick Henry on the ground to create the offensive spark that has been sorely lacking for much of the season.
Henry struggled for a four-game stretch, but has rounded into form recently, etching his name into NFL history after passing Walter Payton on the all-time touchdown list.
Tasked with stopping Baltimore's offense is a Dolphins defensive unit that has lacked difference-makers outside of the NFL's leading tackler, linebacker Jordyn Brooks.
For the Dolphins (2-6), this game is about proving that last week's surprise defeat of the Atlanta Falcons was no fluke.
The catalysts behind that win, quarterback Tagovailoa and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, must pick up where they left off - and lean on the dynamic dual-threat abilities of De'Von Achane at running back.
The Dolphins will go up against an underperforming Baltimore defense, but in a unit boasting stars like Kyle Hamilton - the league's highest-paid safety - and linebacker Roquan Smith, it feels like a question of when, not if, they'll rediscover their rhythm.
While reports suggest Miami head coach Mike McDaniel still has the backing of owner Stephen Ross, a loss here would only crank up the noise around his job security.
🎥 Lamar Jackson on Tua Tagovailoa in 2023: “Tua’s a phenomenal player… he threw the game-winning touchdown [vs. Georgia], after that I was like he’s amazing! I just fell in love with his game then.” (

All for as little as £34.99.
Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida.
The Ravens lead the all-time series 11-8-0. In their last meeting, at M&T Bank Stadium in December 2023, Baltimore cruised to a 56-19 victory.
It's no secret that the Ravens have been woeful by their own high standards—or any standards, to be exact. But we saw shades of the old Baltimore in their 30-16 defeat of the Bears in Week 8.
Waddle and Achane may have their moments for the Dolphins, but with Jackson back in the fold, I predict the traveling Ravens will make it two wins in a row.
