Seattle Seahawks advance to the Super Bowl, winning a shootout over the Los Angeles Rams

Super Bowl LX is set.

The Seattle Seahawks held off their NFC West rival, the Los Angeles Rams, 31-27 and will head to the marquee game of the NFL season on Sunday, Feb. 8, at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., to battle the AFC champion New England Patriots, who bested the Denver Broncos 10-7.

People doubted whether Sam Darnold could win a big game. He did just that for the Seahawks, going 25 of 36 for 346 yards with three touchdowns and zero interceptions. One of those touchdowns was to star wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who had 10 receptions for 153 yards. Now, Darnold can call himself a Super Bowl quarterback as he leads the Seahawks (16-3) back to the game in which they will be making their fourth appearance. They haven't appeared in the Super Bowl since losing Super Bowl XLIX to the Patriots. 

MVP candidate Matthew Stafford did all he could to get the Rams (14-6) back to the Super Bowl. Stafford went 22 of 35 for 374 yards, along with three touchdowns and zero interceptions.
