Agit Kabayel's opponent revealed for upcoming WBC interim heavyweight title defence

We already knew that Agit Kabayel was set to defend his WBC interim heavyweight title at the Rudolf-Weber-Arena in Oberhausen, Germany on January 10, live worldwide on DAZN, and now we know who he'll be facing.

Queensberry Promotions announced on Monday that Kabayel (26-0, 18KOs) will face undefeated Polish fighter Damian Knyba at the event.

Knyba (17-0, 11 KOs) is also undefeated and at 6-foot-8 poses a giant challenge for Kayabel. The 29-year-old Knyba has fought three times in 2025, forcing stoppages in all three.

Meanwhile, Kabayel was last in action in February, when he earned a sixth-round knockout victory against Zhilei Zhang to claim the WBC belt.
