Daniel Dubois might be famed for his brute strength and incredible power in the ring - but there is more to the world heavyweight champion's physicality than meets the eye, as his gymnastics routine shows.
The Briton legitimised his ascension to the IBF title with a ruthless fifth-round stoppage of Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium last September, flooring his domestic rival multiple times en-route to victory.
Those intimidating factors in a first official defence after former undisputed king Oleksandr Usyk handed over his crown formed the flash as he lit up the national stadium in front of a record-breaking full house.
But as brash and ballistic as his performance with his hands might have been, it is the balletic ballast behind his movement that helped Dubois make history - and now, he is doubling down on it too.
Ahead of his latest defence against former world champion Joseph Parker at Riyadh Season's The Last Crescendo, live on DAZN Pay-Per-View, DAZN's On the Ground has gone behind-the-scenes to follow the star.
That has taken Dubois and father Stan down memory lane, to the gyms around his home borough of Greenwich where the star cut his teeth at the start of a then-fledgling career that would see him conquer the globe.
At Deptford's Commando Temple Gym, Dubois showcased why his routine on the high rings has helped him build a foundation for his reputation as a fearsome fighter with something a little bit extra in his back pocket.
Challenged to show his skills, the 27-year-old showed off his skills for the cameras, with horizontal, vertical and full rotation holds, to the delight of conditioning coach Cuong Hua, who helped lead the tour.
"We used to train a lot in this area, with the rings," he said. "Dan's pretty nifty on the gymnastic rings. [He] always used to be on these things, always upside down."
Dubois will hope he can hold his poise against a resurgent Parker when they meet on Saturday night, with victory potentially laying up the path for a rematch with Usyk - and a shot at the undisputed world heavyweight title.
