Dmitry Bivol revealed he watched his first fight with Artur Beterbiev back "three or four times" ahead ot their undisputed light heavyweight rematch on February 22.
This Saturday will pit the two men together four months after their first encounter, as part of Riyadh Season's The Last Crescendo, live on DAZN Pay-Per-View.
There, Beterbiev won a majority decision to sweep all four belts, despite many at ringside feeling Bivol had done enough to take the call from the judges himself.
Now, speaking at Tuesday's Grand Arrivals, the star has revealed that he has studied their original bout on several occasions, and that he discovered plenty in the process.
"[I watched the first fight back] three or four times," he said. "I saw good moments and bad moments. I just need to be better in all positions.

"I need to be faster, I need to be harder, I need to be smarter. Everything, better. [I did] not learn too much [about Beterbiev in the first fight].
"But I learned about myself that I do not like to lose. I need to push myself harder. It means more endurance [on Saturday night]."
Bivol is looking to become the first man to hand Beterbiev a professional loss, having suffered his own maiden defeat against his rival last time out.
However, he became the first fighter to take his opponent the distance in his career, a fact that appears to have further built into the narrative of their latest dance.
