Hughie Fury and Christian Hammer go head-to-head in Newcastle in a heavyweight fight that could move the winner into contention for a title shot.

Fury is ranked number four by the WBA and 14 by the IBF, so a victory might move him into contention for a shot at the current WBA champion - Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury has not fought since December 12 last year when he beat Mariusz Wach at Wembley Arena.

A win for the more experienced Hammer could give him a shot at one last high profile fight. Hammer's last fight on 27 November 2020 ended in defeat after losing to Tony Yoka on points.

Also on the card is Chris Eubank Jr. who is fighting Wanik Awdijan after his September fight was cancelled twice.
