Oscar De La Hoya will be keeping a close eye on Devin Haney when he returns to action on May 2, live and exclusive on DAZN PPV .
Haney will feature on a star-studded bill in New York as he battles Jose Ramirez, ahead of a potential rematch with Ryan Garcia later this year.
In the immediate aftermath of the bout, it was revealed that Garcia had failed a drugs test meaning the result was changed to a ‘No Contest.’

Garcia will also be in action in New York next month and he will be hoping he can defeat Rolly Romero to keep his sequel with Haney alive.
De La Hoya, Garcia’s promoter, has long been insistent that his fighter is better than Haney and now he believes that the former undisputed ruler at lightweight could be ‘shot.’
“I feel Devin Haney is a shot fighter after what Ryan Garcia did to him,” said De La Hoya when speaking to BoxingScene.
“It happens that quick, yes. I’ve seen [Haney’s] demeanour, he looks lost. Look, Ramirez still has his power, his legs and a left hook.”
Fight fans are in for a treat at the end of April / start of May, with three amazing fight cards within seven days - and DAZN PPV is the only place to watch them all.
