Ryan Garcia last fought competitively in January 2021 but will fight again tonight, in a fight shown shown live exclusively on DAZN .
He will fight 33-year-old fellow lightweight Emmanuel Tagoe.
Tagoe was last in competitive action back in November 2020 when he fought Mason Menard, scoring his 32nd career victory, and has suffered just one defeat so far since turning professional.
The experienced Ghanaian could be tricky opposition for the young American after he took time away for his mental health, with a planned earlier return postponed by a hand injury.
His most recent rival was Luke Campbell, with his victory over the Briton earning him the WBC interim championship belt, a title he then vacated due to inaction.
Here's everything you need to know ahead of Garcia vs. Tagoe.
