Pew-pew-pew! Oleksandr Usyk messes around with Eddie Hearn backstage at The Ring V

Oleksandr Usyk made the most of his time at The Ring V: Night of the Samurai, with the unified heavyweight champion enjoying his post-Christmas trip.

The Ukrainian paid tribute to headliner Naoya Inoue as he defeated Alan Picasso, sharing the ring with his fellow pound-for-pound great in the aftermath.

Elsewhere, Usyk confirmed he wishes to face Deontay Wilder for his next bout after relinquishing his WBO title to mandatory challenger Fabio Wardley.

But the star, a two-time undisputed kingpin in the glamour division, also found time to mess around with Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn behind the scenes.

In a video posted to his social media, Usyk can be seen creeping down a hotel corridor with a large package shaped like a sci-fi laser gun and laughing.

Hearn emerges in shot near the end of the video, grinning, before the fighter pursues him towards the elevators, writing that he "was in my sights".

The two sat ringside together for the full card in Riyadh, over a week after Usyk's former rival and Matchroom talent Anthony Joshua beat Jake Paul.

The Briton teamed up with his onetime opponent before his bout with the American, and is expected to pursue his own clash with Tyson Fury in 2026.
