After months of waiting for Teofimo Lopez to finally defend his lightweight belts, the unified champion is back in the ring tonight.
New York will see George Kambosos Jr, attempting to take the three belts from the 24-year-old American as he takes on the role of IBF mandatory challenger.
Lopez took the belts from Vasiliy Lomachenko in October 2020 and is now ready to prove his dominance in the division amid speculation he could soon move up the divisions in order to persuie more high profile fighters.
Kambosos Jr. beat Lee Selby to earn the right to have a shot at the champion, and goes into the match-up as a huge underdog.
