Ahead of the new Serie A campaign - a season where you can see over 300 games live on DAZN - there has been plenty of transfer activity among the top flight clubs.

Up and down the league, there are a host of new faces that will be strutting their stuff in the league, as well as some big moves between the Italian sides.

Here are the five new signings that DAZN News is most excited about.

Kevin De Bruyne - Napoli

De BruyneThe champions' defence of their Serie A title has been boosted by the arrival of one of Belgium's greatest-ever names.

After spending a trophy-laden decade with Manchester City, the footballing sat-nav has joined Napoli, linking up with international teammate Romelu Lukaku in what looks like being a profitable combination for Antonio Conte's men.

At 34, De Bruyne may well be into the September of his career, but given the slightly slower style of the Serie A, there's no doubt he'll be an instrumental part of Napoli's set-up this season.

Luka Modric - AC Milan

Modric may turn 40 this year, but there's no sign of this footballing mastermind slowing down, which is why Milan have snapped up the former Ballon d'Or winner on a free transfer.

The Croatian legend had been the architect in Real Madrid's midfield for 13 years, winning six Champions League gongs, and will add that experience and his undoubted class to the Rossoneri's midfield this season.

It's unlikely he'll be a regular starter, but as an option off the bench, Modric will be a real asset to Massimiliano Allegri's team.

A real treat promises to be seeing the Croat pit his wits against Kevin De Bruyne as two of the game's great passers go head-to-head.

Evan Ferguson - Roma

Evan FergusonA much-needed reboot for the young Irishman, who has somewhat lost his way on the South Coast.

Ferguson broke through into the Brighton first team as an 18-year-old and was immediately regarded as one of the most exciting young forwards in the country. He reached double figures in his first full season with the Seagulls, but a spell of indifferent form and fitness issues has seen him struggle to rediscover that spark.

He endured a frustrating loan spell at West Ham in the second half of last season, but a move to Serie A could be the ideal setting for Ferguson to find his shooting boots once again. Getty

At still only 20, the talented forward will give new-look Roma an ideal focal point in their attack this season.

Luis Henrique - Inter

Luis Enrique InterInter is slow-burning into a new era following the departure of Simone Inzaghi as coach at the end of last season.

Despite finishing as runners-up and reaching the Champions League final, it was clear the team needed an injection of youth and pace and they'll be getting both those things with the arrival of Henrique.

The Brazilian moved to Serie A following his best-ever European campaign at Marseille last year, where he scored nine times in all competitions.

The 23-year-old made his debut for the club during the summer's FIFA Club World Cup and can play as both an orthodox winger or at wing-back. Getty

Jonathan David - Juventus

The forward joins after a successful spell in France with Lille, where he netted over 100 goals in five seasons with the club and won the Ligue 1 title.

The Canadian will add a new element to Juve's attack, given his pace and power, and provide competition for Dušan Vlahović, who is constantly being linked with a move away from the club.

If he gets up and running early on, he'll be in the conversation for the Capocannoniere come the end of the campaign.
