When does the 2025-26 National League North take place?

The 2025-26 National League North began on Saturday, August 9 and will conclude its regular season on Saturday, April 29. 

It will then be followed by the play-offs across the rest of  May 2026.

How many teams compete in the 2025-26 National League North?

Twenty-four teams compete in the 2025-26 National League North, with each team playing against the others home and away across a 46-game season.

Teams this season include Kidderminster Harriers and Chester City, who lost in the play-off final. 

Who has won the National League North recently?

Brackley Town won the National League North last season, which saw them promoted to the National League itself, the next tier of English football. Scunthrope United were also promoted with them through the play-offs. 

Other winners in recent years include AFC Fylde - twice - Gateshead, King's Lynn Town and Salford City.
