When does the 2025-26 National League South take place?

The 2024-25 National League South began on Saturday, August 9 and will conclude its regular season on Saturday, 25 April. 

It will then be followed by the play-offs across the rest of  May 2026.

How many teams compete in the 2025-26 National League South?

Twenty-four teams compete in the 2024-25 National League South, with each team playing against the others home and away across a 46-game season.

Teams this season include Maidstone United who lost in the play-off final and Dagenham and Redbridge, who were relegated from the National League last season.

Who has won the National League South recently?

Truro City won the National League South last season, which saw them promoted to the National League itself, the next tier of English football. Boreham Wood were also promoted with them through the play-offs. 

Other winners in recent years include Ebbsfleet, Maidstone United and Torquay United, as well as Bromley, who now play in the fourth tier in EFL League Two.
