Games to watch from the National League on Bank Holiday Monday 

Boreham Wood vs Truro City

• Date: Monday, August 25
• Time : 3 pm BST 

Boreham Wood had Saturday off due to their fixture being cancelled, as their game at York was called off because of the women's rugby World Cup, so they head into their clash with Truro fresher than the other side. 

That's bad news for Truro, who are four games into the season but have yet to register a point or score a goal in their first-ever National League campaign.

The two teams were both National League South teams last term, but it's Luke Garrard's Boreham Wood who have adapted much quicker to life in the fifth tier. 

Forest Green Rovers vs Eastleigh

• Date: Monday, August 25
• Time: 3 pm BST

After Saturday's results, it's now Forest Green who top the National League table, as one of three teams on ten points, but with the much better goal difference.

Robbie Savage's men beat Halifax at the weekend to maintain their unbeaten start and will look to continue that streak as they host Eastleigh. 

Kalvin Davies will be pleased with his team's start, too, and head to Rovers having beaten Boston United last time out. 

Southend United vs Hartlepool United

• Date: Monday, August 25
• Time : 3 pm BST  

Two teams that sit in the top three of the division having made an impressive start to the season at both Southend and Hartlepool.

Last season's play-off final defeat seems to have fuelled Kevin Maher's Southend, and they host the Monkeyhangers, having beaten Truro at the weekend to continue their unbeaten run. 

However, Simon Grayson will also have ambitions of keeping Hartlepool's early-season form going, too.
