Portuguese international Bruno Fernandes was once again Manchester United’s star player in the 2025/26 season, during which, in addition to scoring nine goals, he also broke the Premier League record for assists in a single season – the midfielder provided 21 assists, leaving behind the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Thierry Henry. A total of 30 goal contributions helped the Red Devils secure third place in the Premier League and, with it, qualification for the group stage of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League.
